Rafting in Bali
The orange hued rays of sunrise provide a picturesque view of lush paddy fields dominating the Balinese skyline. Rafting along Telaga Waja River, we hang precariously as the raft weavers its way through tumultuous rapids and protruding rocks.
Maneuvering skillfully in the river is no child’s play, requiring a well-trained guide to steer the raft along the safe passage. One or two rafts capsize behind us as we ambled forth; the rafting experience is unfortunately also dependable on the skill of your guide. We were fortunate to be in good hands during our 2 hours of constant rapids, perilous low-lying branches and bumpy rocks.
